Beneath the Surface…

Raised in Hawaii, I learned the power of presence early—first from the rhythmic ocean, and then from my family. My father, a ceramicist, taught me the art of working mindfully with my hands from the age of four. I knead and smooth out adhesions with my massage, as if they were bubbles or imperfections in clay. My mother was an avid massage recipient and encouraged me, not only to start receiving massage at a young age, but was actually my first massage client, and declared I had “healing hands” when I was just seven.

Currents of Purpose…

After earning degrees in Theatre and Vocal Performance from CU Boulder and beginning my professional musical career, a car accident led me to discover massage’s transformative power—for myself and, eventually, for others.

For over 30 years, I’ve woven together my passions for performance and healing as a massage therapist. My journey has taken me across cities and continents, where being truly present—whether on stage or in the treatment room—has shaped my understanding of how focused attention can transform and uplift others.

I have provided massage to cast members in musicals across multiple states, worked as a Lead Singer Entertainer on Princess Cruises for 2 years, and supported fellow performers and orchestra members during a 2-year Broadway Tour of “The Producers” in Australia. Each experience reinforced my belief that presence and care can restore, connect, and inspire.

After eight years of travel, I finally returned to the States and took a deep dive into personal growth while living and working at the world-renowned Esalen Institute in Big Sur for a year. Inspired by community living and Gestalt Therapy, I deepened my appreciation for presence through practices that emphasize awareness in the moment, mind-body connection, and personal responsibility through conflict resolution.

Resurfacing Transformed…

Most recently, after managing a busy massage clinic for 15 years and supporting 30 employees, I was drawn back to my true roots and purpose: the meditative, healing presence of hands-on bodywork. Fine-tuning my approach, rooted in deep presence and intuition, I create a supportive environment where your body’s natural healing abilities can emerge. Rather than simply addressing muscle tension, I work holistically—listening to both physical and subtle cues—to facilitate lasting transformation and well-being.

Having called the Queen Anne neighborhood home for 2 decades, I aim to make a meaningful difference here by providing a safe space for healing and stress reduction. I help clients return to their lives feeling restored and more balanced, contributing positively to the well-being of our community.

Outside of work, I practice yoga and meditation, and travel often—experiences that continually deepen my perception and presence. Most recently exploring Mexico, France, India, Iceland, and Chile.
